Rate per square foot of shutter face (height × width), including supply, fabrication, transport within Dhaka and installation; VAT excluded; starting rates valid from 16 August 2026. Tempered glass is priced on the quotation. The carcass is not in the rate.
Why aluminium profile shutters
Once the carpenter's boxes are up, every opening is measured and each shutter made to it — no gaps, no rubbing.
Hinges, soft-close and a standard handle are in the rate; designer handles are quoted separately.
Clear, frosted, tinted or tempered glass, or laminated board — cut from our own godown.
Silver, black and champagne profile — the Dhanmondi 6/A job is black profile with coffee-light tempered glass.
Aluminium does not swell or attract termites; glass wipes clean.
If the carcass is sound, new shutters alone give a new front — 10 to 15 days from measurement.
One kitchen, worked out
12 shutters, each 610 × 457 mm (height × width). Each side rounded up to the next half-foot: 2 ft × 1.5 ft = 3 sft per shutter → 36 sft.
36 sft × ৳870 = ৳31,320 — indicative, before site measurement; supply and installation, VAT excluded. Tempered or tinted glass adds the glass difference on the quotation.

How the job runs
- Photos of the kitchen or wardrobe, the number of shutters and rough sizes on WhatsApp — an indicative figure the same day.
- Once the carcass is built, every opening is measured on site; the written quotation lists each shutter with size, sft and rate.
- Profile and glass cut and assembled in our own workshop — usually 10 to 15 days.
- Installation, hinge adjustment and handles — one-year installation warranty.
