What moves the price

Glass thickness

5 mm fixed panels are the lowest; panels over 8 ft or carrying a door move to 8–10 mm, and doors are always tempered — the rate follows.

Framed or frameless

Framed glass can be thinner; a U-channel or frameless look needs 10 mm, so more per square foot.

Number of doors

Each door carries hinges or a floor spring, lock, handle and closer — hardware is the largest share; fewer doors, lower cost.

Frosting and privacy

Frosted film or paper pasting is a separate line, added per square foot.

Height and ceiling

False ceilings, beams or uneven floors need fillers and extra channel; picked up at site measurement.

Timing and access

Night or holiday work in a running office is shown as its own line in the quotation.

How measurement and billing work

  1. Every opening is measured on site — height first, then width, in millimetres.
  2. Page one of the quotation is the measurement sheet, with the drawing and cutting list for approval before fabrication.
  3. The final bill follows site measurement, with a Mushak-6.3 VAT challan. 50 to 60% advance, balance on installation.
  4. 10 to 15 days for ordinary jobs; add 7 to 10 where glass is tempered. One-year warranty on installation.

Questions we are asked

Which glass for an office partition — 5, 8 or 10 mm?
5–6 mm is enough in a framed partition; a frameless look or heights over 8 ft call for 8–10 mm; doors are always 10 mm tempered.
Why is a frameless door priced separately?
Floor spring, patch fittings and lock are a fixed cost per door — they are priced per door rather than per square foot, so the quotation shows them as a separate line.
How much sound does it stop?
Single-glass partitions divide space visually; they are not full acoustic barriers. 10 mm glass and good sealing improve it; where sound is the point, double glazing is a separate conversation.
Can you work in a running office?
Yes; glass is cut beforehand and site work is mainly fitting. Night or holiday work is arranged in advance and priced as such.
Is site measurement charged?
No. Site measurement within Dhaka is free.
