Euro model sliding window price 2026

The Euro model is the heavier Thai aluminium series — 1.2 or 1.5 mm sections, EPDM rubber gaskets instead of wool pile, more glass in a slimmer frame, and the option of 6 + 12 + 6 mm double glazing. Single glazed from ৳1,055/sft, double glazed from ৳1,290/sft, supplied and installed, VAT excluded. It is what we suggest for road-facing bedrooms, air-conditioned rooms and upper-floor windows that take wind and rain; for ordinary inward-facing windows the General model (৳650) is enough.

What the difference over the General model buys

Rubber-gasket sealing

EPDM gaskets keep out dust and driven rain and do not flatten over the years the way wool pile does.

Less noise and heat with double glazing

A 12 mm air space between two panes cuts road noise and solar heat — an air-conditioned room runs cheaper. How much depends on the glass and the room; we do not promise a figure.

Slim frame, more glass

In the same opening the Euro frame shows less metal — more of the view.

Heavier section

1.5 mm for large leaves and upper floors where wind loads the sash; 1.2 mm for ordinary sizes.

Stainless mosquito net

Stainless steel net on option — it does not tear or rust.

How the job runs

General versus Euro model in one sentence?
The Euro model has heavier sections (1.2/1.5 mm), rubber-gasket seals, a slimmer frame and the double-glazing option; the General model is lighter, with wool-pile seals and 5 mm single glass — about ৳400/sft apart.
Do I really need double glazing?
For a road-facing bedroom, an air-conditioned room or a west-facing window — yes, the difference is felt. For inward-facing or veranda windows single glazing is enough.
Does the Euro model take a mosquito net?
Yes — a stainless steel net on option; an ordinary fibre net can also be fitted.
Is it available in black?
Yes — powder-coated black, and also silver, bronze, golden/PC and Woodtech.
How large can one sliding leaf be?
For large leaves we suggest the 1.5 mm section and 6 mm tempered glass; the limit for a given size and floor is stated on the quotation.
